Give shape to an idea, need, tradition, memory, solution, or possibility.
It can hold memory, skill, curiosity, care, problem-solving, identity, and the things we learn from other people along the way.
CLIMB Crafts grew from paying attention to that fuller picture: what people already know, what they are trying to figure out, and how different one Maker’s creative life can look from another’s.
There is no single reason people make, and there should not be one definition of what making is supposed to become.
CLIMB is being built with room for those differences.
I created CLIMB because I kept coming back to a simple problem: you can have plenty of ideas, advice, resources, and things you want to make and still be unsure what deserves your attention first.
I also did not want to build something that assumed every Maker wanted the same thing.
Some people make for themselves. Some are learning. Some are coming back after a long pause. Some sell occasionally. Some want to build a business. And those things can change.
I wanted CLIMB to make room for those differences while still helping someone make sense of where they are and what may actually be useful from there.
That became the beginning of CLIMB Crafts.

People learn through practice, memory, other Makers, and trying things that do not always work the first time. CLIMB was created to help that knowledge stay connected to the life and work around it.
Five words. One creative life. No required order and no expectation that every maker wants the same destination.
Give shape to an idea, need, tradition, memory, solution, or possibility.
Build skill and understanding through practice, questions, feedback, observation, and reflection.
Recognize possibility and, when ready, help another maker see what may be possible without pressure to perform.
Move knowledge and intention through a real action, project, decision, experiment, repair, or restart.
Have a place to participate, receive support, pause, and return without being required to perform, sell, or fit one permanent path.
A creative life moves through attempts, decisions, unfinished work, adjustments, pauses, restarts, and discoveries. What happens along the way helps shape what comes next.

A few Makers recognized for what they create, contribute, and bring to the CLIMB community.

Alicia connects craft, memory, materials, and heritage through Handmade History, carrying useful stories from one Maker to another.

Denisa's handmade work brings together faith, joy, denim stories, community, and purpose through DAB Creates, LLC.

Cassidy uses crochet hats and accessories for bold self-expression, confidence, disability pride, and unapologetic handmade joy.
Shared with the maker’s permission.
Start with what needs attention now. You choose whether to use the next step, change direction, ask for help, or return later.
CLIMB knows its limits. When your question belongs with qualified expertise or another source, CLIMB makes that boundary clear.
